Built to Thrive in 2025

2024 was a year of recovery for me. After going through a tumultuous year, I finally received what I desperately craved. I experienced so much peace, healing, and redirection. Although I didn’t expect or understand some things, it all worked out for my good as promised in Romans 8:28. Now I’m positioned to thrive in 2025!

Like previous years, I took a week off to commemorate my birthday. I spent a few days at an all-inclusive resort in Cancun, Mexico. It was reinvigorating! I chilled on the beach, ate countless times, and rode an ATV in the jungle. What I loved the most about my trip was that I was able to relax…no cooking, cleaning, working, or driving…just pure enjoyment. I also had a party at home with my loved ones. All the love and gifts I received left me feeling revitalized and full of joy!

My theme for this year is “Built to Thrive in 2025”. I've spent the past couple of years in fight-or-flight mode trying to undo damage caused and get back on track. I'm well accomplished, but I feel like there's a missing link as to why I'm not where I think I should be and making the money I deserve. I sense that I will be connected to it in 2025. There is going to be an emergence that puts me on the rise and I’ll be showered with opportunities that correlate with my heart’s desires.

Similarly to my theme for 2024, I don't have any major goals. My submission to God has realigned me to get back to the basics. My focuses are to make more money, get a new car, and my career (this includes my business and blog).

  • Maintain career stability and have a healthy work/life balance

  • Return for 2025 NFL season

  • Growing in Godly Grace:

    • Refresh site

    • Monetize with affiliate links and products

  • KP Executive Assist:

    • Book clients and retain at least two per quarter

    • Hit my revenue goal

    • Add new products and services

In addition to my career goals, I created a separate list based on the ins and outs trend. It is more behavior-oriented than pressured by a timeline. This simplifies things while adding value to the vision for my lifestyle.

Ins:

  • Surrounding myself with genuine people

  • Guarding my heart

  • Going out more

  • Indulging in my hobbies

    • Read my books

    • Post content on Pinterest

    • Complete word searches

    • Try new recipes

  • Working out at least 2 times a week

  • Weekly massages using this device

Outs:

  • Oversharing

  • Procrastinating

  • Responding to emails and texts in my head

  • Overextending

  • Working for free

  • Wasting food

I made some lifestyle changes and I've been in a much better mental space ever since.

This is my last year in my 20s, and I hope it's memorable in the best way. I believe this will be the year where long awaited desires will be fulfilled. Psalms 37:4 says, “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” Being in a place of surrenderance has positioned me to be where God wants me so that I can receive what He has for me. He is giving me new territories to take new ground. Things are unlocking for me THIS year. Everything that has been held up will be released! I'm walking confidently as I trust God knowing whatever lies ahead is intentional and for my good.

The one who breaks open will come up before them; They will break out, Pass through the gate, And go out by it; Their king will pass before them, With the Lord at their head.” -Micah 2:13

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.” -Psalms 56:1-3

Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior? If not, say this prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus,

Come into my life. I accept You as my Lord and personal Savior. I believe in my heart that You died and rose from the dead to save me. Thank You, Lord, for saving me in Jesus' name. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer, then congratulations! All of your sins are now forgiven and you have been born again. Heaven is rejoicing!
